Dagger Necklace & Earrings

When it comes to beads I rarely have anything around other than rounds. The impetus for this set was not being able to find my blue glass briolettes when I needed to make another pair of the briolette earrings. The matching necklaces grew from the center out, the beads snugly strung on illusion cord. Having that pattern all the way around the neck would have been too much and so I went to my chain drawer and found a little baggie of silver plate necklaces. Because the chains were lengthened so much by both the central insert and the wrapped loop bead links I even have enough chain to make bracelets. (I’d never wear all the items at the same time but…)

The earring that started it all. 1-7/8″ long and 3/4″ wide. They rather remind me of maple seeds.
